PRC has succeeded in ensuring a normal life span of life for its Paraplegic and Tetraplegics by preventing complications and ensuring optimal state of health. In that the work has been done in following type of rehabilitation: -
(a)
Physical Rehabilitation. In this regard PRC is able to ensure that the left over strength of the limbs and internal systems of the inmates is maintained in optimum state by physiotherapy, games on wheelchair and regular medical checkups and daily care.
(b)
Psychological Rehabilitation. PRC is proud of its being capable of bringing up the morale of its inmates to a high level and overcoming the trauma of a spinal cord injury as early as possible.
(c )
Financial Rehabilitation. This is always a priority for the PRC and in this field 04 inmates and 02 lady wives of inmates have been provided job as civilian defence employees so far. And 02 in inmates are working in IT sector beside 03 who are running Jai Jawan Stalls provided by army. Other then this all paraplegics and their wives are provided in house in a Vocational Training Sheltered Workshop.
(d)
Sexual Rehabilitation. In this field PRC is the innovator of devising a technique, which is cost effective and successful. This has been accepted as the best for third world countries by the United State Archives of Physical Medical Rehabilitation.

Wheelchair Sports. PRC is a pioneer in introducing sports on wheelchair. The 1st National Games for disabled were also organized by PRC and were held in the Centre. Inmates of the Centre are undisputed champions in wheelchair sports at National level. At international level inmate s from PRC have won the following medals till now:-

Nodal Centre for Training. PRC is the Nodal Center for imparting training to doctors and paramedics in rehabilitation of paraplegics / tetraplegics in this country.
